I hate to only have one team listed here in the Losers section but I’m getting worried about the Grizzlies. They just lost Brandon Clarke for the season and Ja Morant has missed three-straight games and is questionable for Tuesday vs the Jazz. If anything is in the Grizzlies’ favor it’s that they have Jaren Jackson Jr. playing at an All NBA Defensive level and Desmond Bane back to his form from two years ago helping to pick up the slack when needed. Their next week of games include matchups with the Lakers, Thunder, and Celtics with the Warriors, Heat, and Pistons looming after that. And with them sitting 5th in the standings, they don’t have much room for error or they may find themselves in the Play-In fighting to even make the post-season.
BI: For his six-year career, Ja has appeared in just 63.7% of potential regular-season games for the Grizzlies

Over the past 45 years, five title-winning teams weren't led by a player who would win, or had won, the NBA's MVP award: last year's Celtics, the 2019 Toronto Raptors and the Detroit Pistons in 1989, 1990 and 2004.
