The NBA's French Revolution May Turn Into Something Greater, If Europe Allows
Jacob Suttin, JSutt Hoops

Go a couple of layers deeper and you’ll find that Europe has long been a key pipeline for certain NBA players to develop their games. PJ Tucker, prior to becoming a cult favorite role player in the States, was a championship-winner in Germany and credits that to his overall winning mentality. Dante Exum, after what was already a decent career as a role player, took his skills to another level after playing two years in Europe. Current Hornets guard Vasilije Micic, too, was a great Euroleague player, winning MVP in 2021 and multiple championships. The point is, the pipeline is firmly in place, with the Euroleague developing much of the league’s high-end and middle-of-the-road talent.

BOS: 'He's a winner:' How Al Horford found his home and NBA glory
Ben Rohrbach, Yahoo! Sports

Horford was the biggest free agent ever to sign with the Celtics. They put their faith in one another, really knowing one truth about each other: They had won before, and they wanted to win again. Horford, a two-time NCAA champion, was looking for his first NBA title, and the Celtics sought their record 18th. Together they would figure this out. It would require patience. And luck. How much of both neither knew.
